Six representative entity encounters from the undated 1951 UFO reports archived on this page.
1951: Unknown Date UFO|UAP & Entity Sightings Archive
This page gathers 1951 reports whose sources give only the bare year, and it is overwhelmingly an entity page spanning six continents. It includes a British contactee’s recurring encounters and a French innkeeper paid in gold nuggets, both documented in full via the standalone reports linked below, and a Mongolian dome-craft guarded by an invisible force field, a Guyanese landing seen by a crowd on a seawall, and a scattering of cryptid and folklore encounters.
Most entries rest on a single published account or a recollection recorded decades later, so each source is named so you can judge its weight.
Date: 1951

Date: 1951
Location: Not specified
Time: Unknown
Summary: The witness encountered a large, roughly seven-foot-tall Nordic-type being with fair skin, chiseled features and long arms reaching to his knees, wearing a one-piece silver suit, who spoke of coming Earth changes. Smaller beings 3 to 4 feet tall with covered mouths accompanied him. She was escorted aboard a transport scout ship where a pilot-like entity in a dark uniform, hat and scarf, with pale skin, black hair, large dark eyes and a small slit for a mouth, was at the controls. She was then shown another planetary system.

Date: 1951
Location: Coventry, England
Time: Afternoon
Summary: Cathie Connelly, who reported an ongoing series of contacts dating to 1940, was visited at home by a “messenger” and subsequently taken aboard a recurring craft several times. There she was examined regarding pregnancy, interrogated by a cat-faced, green-skinned being about human appearance and religion, shown a solar system map and unfamiliar writing, and shown, through a scanning device, real-time scenes of aerial combat while being told “this is your world,” which she repeatedly denied. One disorienting episode involved an apparently induced, dreamlike bus journey to a segregated setting in Rhodesia. She also recalled, under the crew’s prompting, a childhood baptism at a small Salvation Army church. See the Detailed Report.

Date: 1951
Location: Calumet, Oklahoma
Time: Evening
Summary: Mrs. Lawrence Laub, checking cattle, saw an animal resembling a deer only superficially, with thin deer-like legs, huge pads for feet, long hair lighter than a German shepherd’s, a body larger than a dog or wolf, small pointed ears and a bushy tail. Curious rather than afraid, it watched her retreat. Her husband had seen a similar creature two years earlier, and neighbors had separately reported strange tracks in their fields.

Date: 1951
Location: North of Murray Bridge, Halidon, South Australia
Time: Early morning
Summary: A young married woman rounding up cattle on her family’s property saw, from the top of a sand dune, an object resting on four legs, about the size of a two-bedroom house. Approaching it, she was met by three adult-human-looking male beings with clear blue eyes, smooth unlined skin, and tight-fitting silver suits with silver boots and hoods. She was interviewed decades later by Australian ufologist Keith Basterfield, who preserved her anonymity. See the Detailed Report.

Date: 1951
Location: Near Bralorne, British Columbia, Canada
Time: Afternoon
Summary: A young girl walking a remote trail was approached by three little men in shiny dark blue suits, and one took her hand and led her to a clearing. They paused beneath a bright yellow light before being raised into the air amid a whirl of sparkles. She recalled standing in a small gray room among other small figures, being examined and bathed in cold salt water, and then being placed in a room with other children who described where they were from, several reluctant to leave. After saying goodbye, she was returned to the same clearing.

Date: 1951
Location: Georgetown, Guyana
Time: Early evening
Summary: A woman (given only as “Denver”), her father, her young son and several locals strolling the seawall saw a bright, multicolored, windowed, saucer-shaped light approach from the ocean and land nearby on the grass. Most bystanders fled, but she and her son stayed and saw several dark, man-shaped figures inside that seemed to lack visible heads or arms. The object rose and left inland at high speed, and a large circular burned patch was found at the landing site afterward.

Location: Chirundu, Zimbabwe (Zambezi River)
Time: Evening
Summary: A 16-year-old girl collecting water from the Zambezi with her mother climbed into an anchored canoe and saw, on a small island in mid-river, a beautiful, naked, white-skinned woman with long black hair, her lower body submerged and fish-like. When the girl pointed her out, her mother urged silence, and by the time she looked back the figure was gone. Her mother warned her never to speak of the “mermaid” or it would return for her.

Date: 1951
Location: Maumee, Ohio
Time: Night
Summary: An adult witness recalled an encounter from age seven in an orphanage dormitory she shared with seven other girls. Waking to use the bathroom, she saw up to ten small, scaly-skinned, dark-gray humanoid figures with joint-less, tube-like arms and tadpole-shaped heads float in through the window and surround her bed. Their “leader” spoke to the others in an incomprehensible language while passing a small, eye-like scanning device over her body. None of the beings touched her, and none of the other girls woke.

Date: 1951
Location: Rural New Jersey
Time: Night
Summary: An eight-year-old girl, given the pseudonym “Sherry Jamison,” woke to find herself standing in a field near her home with no memory of how she got there, and saw a small metallic saucer hovering above her. It swooped down and cast a beam of light on her. She tried to flee along a fence, but the craft followed and swept her up in the beam, at which point her fear vanished. She remembered nothing more until she woke the next morning in different, dirtied clothing than she had gone to bed in. No hypnotic regression was used to recover the account.

Date: 1951
Location: Loch Morar, Scotland
Time: Night
Summary: A witness interviewed decades later in her seventies described seeing a “hairy man with a wolf’s head” near the loch, which is also known for its own lake-monster legend. It walked on two feet but ran on all fours, staring at her “in a horrible way” from about 70 feet before bounding away.

Date: 1951
Location: Moscow, Russia
Time: Late night
Summary: Zinaida Elshevskaya, a young woman at the time, woke to a bright light behind her window and at first feared a fire, but felt no alarm and went to her entry door. There a beautiful, roughly two-meter-tall, sexually ambiguous humanoid with radiant eyes and golden hair floated five meters away, wrapped in an egg-shaped cocoon of light. It offered to show her Earth from space. She agreed, was drawn into the cocoon, and the two circled the planet before returning. The entity promised to come back the next night for a longer journey, which it did. Decades later, under hypnosis conducted by researcher Valeriy Avdeev, the entity, identifying itself as female and named “Loo,” reportedly said it had watched over Zinaida since childhood.

Date: 1951
Location: Near Sagua la Grande, Cuba
Time: Late night
Summary: Alberto Segura and several other road workers saw a large yellow light approaching and brightly lighting the nearby sugar cane fields. The others fled, but Segura stayed, frozen with fear. As the light came closer he threw a stick at it, which made it dim and shrink, and a bright blue flash then showed two human-like figures standing within it. The light rose and vanished, and moments later a loud explosion came with its brief reappearance overhead.

Time: After midnight
Summary: A woman recalled, as a three-year-old, a bright, motionless “light creature” appearing in the corner of her bedroom, its stretching arm touching hers with a sensation like electrocution. She describes it only as a fragmented impression, not a full memory. She reports electromagnetic disturbances around her since then, including failed charge cards, alarms triggering nearby and birds changing their flight paths toward her.

Date: 1951
Location: Casteil, Pyrénées-Orientales, France
Time: Unknown
Summary: Innkeeper Jacques B. Bley was approached by a tall, striking stranger who asked for daily bread and milk for several weeks and gradually drew Bley into complex political and social discussions. The man finished a topographic survey of the local mountains alone in under 15 days, work that would normally take a survey team two months, and when Bley’s son photographed him over his objection, the two photographs came out entirely unexposed. He paid his final bill in gold nuggets before leaving, saying it was time to “return up there.” Investigator Antonio Ribera independently checked the gold transaction with the local jeweler and the stranger’s presence with the town’s mayor. See the Detailed Report.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
A Global Year of Entities, Undated
Like the other year-level Unknown Date pages, this collection is defined by close encounters rather than distant lights, and it covers every inhabited continent. Two cases are better documented than the rest: Casteil, France, where an investigator checked the gold payment with a jeweler and the stranger’s presence with the mayor, and the Cathie Connelly contacts from Coventry, England, whose account is recorded as fragmented as she told it.
The remainder is a mixed record. Childhood recollections from Maumee, Bralorne and New Jersey, a Moscow contact recovered under hypnosis, creature reports from Oklahoma, Baltimore and Loch Morar, and a landing at Georgetown from a personal interview all sit here because no month can be assigned. None has an Air Force file behind it, so this page is best read as a catalog of what people reported rather than what was verified.
“Time to return up there.”
— The stranger to Jacques Bley, on leaving Casteil, France, 1951, as recounted by Antonio Ribera
