The French humanoid wave that peaked in September carried directly into October without losing any intensity — nine days here account for more entity encounters than most entire months elsewhere in this archive. Two cases anchor this stretch with genuine evidentiary weight beyond ordinary testimony: Mertrud, where road mender Andre Narcy’s sighting of a hairy-coated entity left behind an independently examinable trace of discolored grass and regular prints, and Athus, Luxembourg, where a mother and her two children lost three contemporaneously-noticed hours to an encounter whose fuller, stranger details — including a floating, bodiless “head” — surfaced only years later as fragmentary memory. A single-eyed entity near Cozes, an extended nuclear-warning contact near Nantes, and a burnt trace beside an unexplained silhouette at St. Claud round out a period this archive’s own site title accurately calls “The French Humanoid Incursion.”

Once mobile again, witnesses reportedly saw a short, stocky, hairy, ape-like being with glowing eyes flee into brush; the abandoned saucer was said to have been recovered by the American military. Frozen but curious, he was told in accented French not to be afraid — that the visitor’s civilization, aware of humanity’s wars and nuclear tests, would intervene against any attempt to start another World War, but hoped never to have to. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Wave Continues at Full Force
Nine days, nearly forty entries — this period shows no sign of the September wave slowing down. Two cases here stand out for combining direct witness testimony with independently examinable evidence: Mertrud’s hairy-coated entity and its accompanying discolored-grass trace, and St. Claud’s burnt strip of ground beside an unexplained human silhouette. Athus, Luxembourg offers this archive’s strangest single image yet — a floating, bodiless “head” recovered only in fragments, years after the fact — while Nantes and Cozes each add genuinely distinctive detail to this wave’s already crowded record: an extended nuclear-warning message in the first case, a clearly illuminated single eye in the second.
One entry required particular caution: an unnamed-witness account of a military saucer recovery, reaching this archive through a compilation of a compilation, with no primary source this archive could verify. It is flagged as Insufficient Data rather than treated on par with this period’s better-attested cases.
