October 1952 closes with a genuine outbreak: exactly ten days after the famous Oloron “Angel Hair” event, an almost identical display — a tilted, smoking cylinder escorted by paired red spheres — swept over Gaillac, France, dropping fiber over the town in front of a hundred witnesses. The same week brought a customs officer’s close-range look at a landed, throbbing, football-shaped craft at Marignane Airport, a cluster of angel-hair-adjacent sightings across southern and eastern France, and continued American radar-visual and pilot cases from Alabama to Long Island.

About ten pairs of red, Saturn-like discs accompanied the cylinder, flying in zigzagging maneuvers around it. Large quantities of angel-hair fiber fell over the town’s rooftops afterward. Exactly ten days earlier, an almost identical event had occurred over Oloron-Sainte-Marie, roughly 100 miles to the southwest.

The final ten days of October 1952 are dominated by the Gaillac, France sighting on October 27 — exactly ten days after the famous Oloron “Angel Hair” event, and startlingly similar to it: a tilted cylinder trailing smoke, paired red discs, and a fall of fiber material over a hundred witnesses. The same day brought a customs officer’s close-range look at a landed, football-shaped craft at Marignane Airport, and a cluster of related sightings across France that all touch, in some way, the same regional flap.
